2014 West and Central African Research and Education Network (WACREN) Conference Holds in March

The West and Central African Research and Education Network (WACREN) whose major goal is building a State of the Art Network Infrastructure for Research and Education in the region, will hold its first annual conference on 13 March 2014.

Focused on cost-effective access to high-capacity bandwidth, connectivity and services, the conference will bring together members of the community, decision and policy makers, international partners and communication services providers to get updates from the various NRENs in the region and discuss infrastructure, interconnection and other technical issues.

It will be followed on 14 March by WACREN’s Annual General Meeting.

Both events will be hosted in Lomé, Togo, by TogoRER.

Participation in the events is open to everyone who is interested in research and education networking.

Registration is free but mandatory.  WACREN hopes to welcome you in Lomé for these events.
