ISPON Signs MOU on Software Knowledge Park With Cross River State Government

Institute of Software Practitioners Of Nigeria (ISPON) and the Government of Cross River State signed an official Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday, 9th of October 2012, at the State Capital,Calabar, Cross River State.

The main objectives include but not limited to collaborative:

a. Technology Innovation Development and diffusion through Technology incubation  – with special emphasis on extended collaboration in current areas and initiatives such as the Software Innovation Cup Competition.

b. Establishment of Software Engineering Institute in the Tinapa Technology City

c. Stimulating the formation of new knowledge-centric and technology-based industries amongst others.

You can also recall that ISPON holds her National Software conference in Tinapa from 28-29 October,2012.
